Serum-first writing habit

I load a Serum 2 bass preset first, match the filter envelope to the kick, then swap in WAV drums from the library. Once eight bars hold, I add a vocal chop for the drop accent. That order stops me from decorating empty projects. Official Serum 2 details are on the Xfer Records Serum 2 page.

Club UKG writers. 140 and dubstep producers who need growls and FX that already sit right. Hybrid house producers who want bass weight without starting from empty wavetables. For genre context, see UK garage on Wikipedia.
