Yes — and significantly expanded. The core digital/analog hybrid engine is faithfully modeled from the original OSCar (only 2,000 units were ever made). impOSCar3 adds 256-step wavetable editing, custom waveform drawing, dual filter parallel routing, macro controls, and aftertouch support — capabilities the original hardware couldn’t offer.
Can I create my own wavetables?
Yes. The Advanced Wavetable Editor lets you draw custom waveforms from scratch, edit additive partials, import user wavetables, and morph between tables for evolving textures. 150+ wavetable presets are also included as starting points.
Does it work on both PC and Mac?
Yes. impOSCar3 supports VST, AU, VST3, and AAX on both Windows and macOS, with native Intel and Apple Silicon support. Compatible with all major DAWs including Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools.
