Is this the exact same sound as the original Oberheim DMX hardware?

GForce sampled every original sound from both the 1981 and 1983 DMX models directly from the hardware. The Raw mode in particular reflects those samples without additional processing — as close to the source as a plugin can get.

What’s the difference between Raw and Produced modes?

Raw gives you unprocessed, dry DMX samples ready for your own processing. Produced mode applies tasteful mixing treatment to make the sounds sit more naturally in a modern mix right away. You can switch between them instantly with no reload.
